DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY

Digital Photography students explore both the technical principals of digital photography while also receiving a short course in contemporary art history highlighting photography's roll within the fine arts.  The focus of the course is to educate the student as a thinking maker, encouraging the development of a conceptual foundation for each student's work alongside their technical development.  Students in the course have open access to archival printers, a lighting studio, and an array of photographic tools they are trained to use in the development of a highly personal portfolio.  Students in this course follow the path their creativity and ideas lead them, and engage in critical analysis of each others work.
