GRAPHIC ARTS
The Graphic Arts student is introduced to various new media and digital art making processes, while being exposed to the vast possibilities of these mediums in both the fine arts and commercial arts. Projects in this course revolve around the individual interests of the student so as to better serve each student’s personal creative goals.
Graphic Arts students have access to a wide array of technologies that allow them to expound upon the basics of Adobe Photoshop, and venture into the realms of 3D printing, experimental editing softwares, and conceptual digital practices. Students in the course may choose to follow a path towards the commercial or find arts, and are encouraged to see this course as a way to diversify the portfolios they are building in the other new media arts courses.
